Formerly the firm’s Vice President of Business Development, Lance was in evaluating and implementing the company’s short- and long-term sales strategies, recommending product and service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential, and developing relationships and structuring effective partnerships with channel partners throughout the company’s global footprint. He began his transportation industry career in 1980 with Yellow Freight Systems and held progressively demanding management and leadership positions at Viking Freight, UPS Freight, YRC Worldwide and CEVA Logistics before joining TrüNorth Global to drive the firm’s strategic sales growth. He brings deep expertise in leading high-volume P&L performance improvement, organizational restructuring, risk management, customer service and sales management. He has led multiple successful initiatives streamlining systems and processes, improving efficiency and productivity, reducing costs, and enhancing shipping time. He also has a strong track record in building top-performing union and non-union teams, and ensuring safe, environmentally compliant workplace environments.
